WikiWednesday: Aviation Edition

For today’s Wikipedia Wednesday I was tempted – sadly based on current events – to note that today in history saw the first printing of paper money in America AND the ratification of the 16th (income tax) Amendment, but I didn’t see an interesting topic in that.  So instead….

On this day in 1959, near Clear Lake, IA, an airplane crash killed The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and …

Buddy Holly

As always, you can find the rules to WikiWednesday in the right sidebar.

PS – To satisfy a competitive streak, I’ll declare that last week’s contest was won by The Coach.

Nice to know I got the win last week. Here’s this week’s circuit variation:

    Buddy Holly>Napoleon Dynamite>Robot Chicken>Conan O’Brien>Neil Young>Buddy Holly

And if you don’t know what Robot Chicken is, you’re seriously missing out … or maybe you’re not.

Buddy Holly – Death in an Airplane Crash – Coin Flip – Superbowl – Wardrobe Malfunction – Butt Cleavage

Twitter update: check out the news. I guess the cops caught a couple of guys in the act of robbing a house and a shot was fired. Rumor has it they were wearing LFC jerseys and one of them was carrying a hubcap.

    I crack myself up.

I may have to check out “Death in an Airplane Crash” just to see how “Coin Flip” makes it into the article.

In my mind, those two things should be nowhere near each other.

Really, though, how do you even compete with butt cleavage?

Quinn, I submit that I cannot compete with butt cleavage.

  7. February 4, 2010 at 10:14 am

Wow, I may have actually won a wiki-wednesday… However, the thought of butt cleavage might just be enough for Matt to disqualify me.

Yeah. Without question Aaron wins this week… but don’t make this a pattern. Massive points for discovering that the entry exists but I hereby state that ‘butt cleavage’ will not be a winner in subsequent contests.

YIPEE! (moons the rest of the posters revealing butt cleavage)
